The apartment marketplace that I consider East Los Angeles stretches east of the 605 Freeway, south of the 10 Freeway, west of the 57 Freeway, and north of the 5 Freeway — a dynamic and highly diverse region that has become one of Southern California’s most established and resilient multifamily housing markets. I began my career in the city of La Mirada and over the years expanded into approximately 70 different cities throughout this corridor. This area is known for its strong sense of community, deep roots in Southern California history, outstanding freeway accessibility, and a unique blend of long-term apartment ownership, family-oriented neighborhoods, and stable rental demand. From classic post-war communities to thriving commercial districts and culturally rich neighborhoods, the region offers a powerful combination of economic activity, urban convenience, and neighborhood identity that continues to make it one of the most desirable and active apartment investment markets in Southern California.
